Study Proves Link B/W Chlorine & Asthma. A new study has come out from the Catholic University of Louvain, finding that there is a direct link between Chlorine in swimming pools and a higher chance of Asthma in our children. Toxicology professor Alfred Bernard said: “The impact of these chemicals on the respiratory health of children appears to be much more important – at least by a factor of five – than that associated with second-hand smoke".
